This Privacy Policy outlines The Rods for Wheels Organization (“we,” “our,” or “the Organization”) practices with respect to information collected from users who access our website at rodsforwheels.org (“Site”), or otherwise share personal information with us (collectively: “Users”).
Grounds for Data Collection
Processing of your personal information (meaning any information which may potentially allow your identification with reasonable means; hereinafter “Personal Information”) is necessary for the performance of our obligations towards you, including responding to your inquiries, processing donations, and providing you with information about our programs and services. Processing is also necessary to protect our legitimate interests and for compliance with legal and financial regulatory obligations to which we are subject.

We may receive your name, email address, donation amount, and mailing address from Donorbox for the purpose of issuing donation receipts and maintaining donor records. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information.
- Device Information: We may collect information from your device such as IP address, browser type, and operating system when you visit our Site.
How We Receive Information About You
We receive your Personal Information from the following sources:
- When you voluntarily provide your personal details by submitting a contact form, sponsorship inquiry form, or other form on our Site
- When you make a donation through our Site via Donorbox
- When you use or access our Site (e.g., device and browser information collected automatically)

We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Site and your information. We employ industry-standard procedures and policies to ensure the safety of the information we collect and retain and to prevent unauthorized use of any such information. Our Site is hosted on the Duda platform, which provides SSL encryption and secure hosting infrastructure. Donations are processed through Donorbox, which uses industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect payment information.
Although we take reasonable steps to safeguard information, we cannot be responsible for the acts of those who gain unauthorized access or abuse our Site, and we make no warranty, express, implied, or otherwise, that we will prevent such access.
Marketing Communications
We may use your Personal Information, such as your name and email address, to send you newsletters, updates, and promotional materials concerning our programs, events, and services which we believe may interest you.

Minors
We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13.
