Fund Equipment

Help us purchase the adaptive equipment that makes outdoor experiences possible for individuals with disabilities.

The Cost of Accessibility

For most people, a day on the water or a trip to the outdoors doesn’t require much thought. But for individuals with physical disabilities, that same experience requires specialized equipment that can cost tens of thousands of dollars.

All-terrain wheelchairs that can handle trails and riverbanks. Drift boats designed for safe, accessible fishing. Cargo vehicles large enough to transport that equipment to each location. Adaptive fishing systems that allow someone with limited mobility to cast a line independently.

This is the equipment that makes our programs possible, and none of it comes cheap.

For most families managing the daily demands of disability-related care and expenses, purchasing this kind of equipment simply isn’t realistic. That’s where your support comes in. Every dollar donated toward our equipment fund goes directly toward purchasing, maintaining, and transporting the adaptive gear our participants need to get outdoors.

Trackstander TR All-Terrain Wheelchair

Fundraising Goal: $20,000

The Trackstander TR is the only all-terrain wheelchair on the market with the ability to bring the user into a standing position, and it can be driven while standing or sitting. Built with heavy-duty tracks that handle mud, sand, snow, gravel, and uneven terrain, this chair allows our participants to access outdoor locations that a standard wheelchair simply cannot reach.

For our organization, the Trackstander TR is a game-changer. It means we can bring participants to riverbanks, lakeshores, trails, and fishing locations that would otherwise be completely inaccessible. Standard features include a four-point harness, tilt-on-the-fly mechanism, cushioned armrests, padded knee supports, and front and rear stability wheels.

Why We Need It:

This single piece of equipment will allow us to serve participants across a wide range of outdoor settings and terrain types. It’s the foundation of our ability to get people to the water’s edge.

Pavati Guardian Carbon Fiber Drift Boat

Fundraising Goal: $40,000

The Pavati Guardian is a premium 16-foot aluminum and carbon fiber drift boat built for river fishing. It features Pavati’s signature Drifter Doors, which provide side access to the boat, a critical feature for individuals with limited mobility who can’t easily climb over the side of a traditional drift boat.

With true level floors, a stable platform for seated or standing fishing, and a design built to handle a wide range of river conditions, the Guardian gives us the ability to take participants out on the water for a real fishing experience.

Not just a day by the shore, but actually on the river.

Why We Need It:

A drift boat is essential to our fishing programs. The Drifter Doors and level floor design make it one of the most accessible options available, allowing participants to board safely and fish comfortably from the water.

Ram ProMaster Cargo Van

Fundraising Goal: $45,000

None of our equipment matters if we can’t get it where it needs to go. The Ram ProMaster Cargo Van gives us the cargo space and towing capacity to transport our adaptive equipment, including the Trackstander TR, fishing gear, safety equipment, and supplies, to every trip and outing we organize.

With up to 524 cubic feet of cargo space, a best-in-class cargo width, and the ability to tow the drift boat on a trailer, the ProMaster is the vehicle that connects our equipment to our participants. It’s the logistics backbone of our entire operation.

Why We Need It:

Transportation is one of the three biggest barriers our participants face. A dedicated cargo van allows us to load up, show up, and set up — handling all the logistics so our participants can focus on the experience.

Make a General Equipment Donation

Not sure which campaign to support? A general equipment donation goes toward our highest-priority needs — whether that’s purchasing new adaptive gear, maintaining the equipment we already have, or covering transportation and logistics costs for upcoming trips.

Every dollar contributed to our equipment fund directly supports our ability to get people outdoors.
